Following its inception, the Foundation quickly embarked on a charter support event designed to solicit donors of significant size. The soliciting of charter donors was intended to:
- Provide a public relations platform to communicate the message of the newly formed organization.
- Solicit initial start-up funds for the Foundation to begin financial operations.
