The foundation will hold its annual Breakfast with Santa Fundraiser in December. Children of all ages pay an entrance fee into a winter wonderland of fun. They enjoy breakfast with Santa and can sit on his lap and give him their list. There are lots of photo opportunities for the parents.

The Running of the Dawgs 5K Run/Fitness Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run is held annually in June at the Northern Lehigh Athletic Stadium, 1 Bulldog Lane, Slatington.

Registration for the event occurs at 7:30 a.m. The 1-Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. The post race features awards, a drawing, and dog costume judging. Awards will be given by way of 5K run prizes to first, second and third-place overall male/female; first, second and third-place male/female in the categories of 18-and-under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-and-over; first, second and third overall 5K walk and 1-mile fun run. Dogs are also welcome to come in costume, as there will be an award given for the best dog costume. A prize will be awarded to the best dressed dog in town.

Proceeds from the event will go to educational enrichment programs within the school district.
